What Macs does ClipChip.ai support?
ClipChip.ai requires a Mac with Apple Silicon — any M-series chip, from M1 through the newest generation. This includes MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro models with Apple Silicon. Intel Macs are not supported.
Does ClipChip.ai upload my videos to the cloud?
Processing stays on your Mac. A finished clip is sent only if you tap Post Now — YouTube or Instagram Reels.
What video formats are supported?
ClipChip.ai supports MP4, MOV, MP3, M4A, WAV, and Captions Only files up to 6 hours in length. You can also import via URL from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, and Instagram.
Can I use ClipChip.ai offline?
Yes. Once the app and AI models are downloaded, ClipChip.ai works entirely offline. No internet connection is required to process or export clips.
How do I activate my license?
After purchase, you'll receive a license key. Open ClipChip.ai, paste the key into the activation dialog, and you're done. The app does not require an account.
