You made something worth watching.

It shouldn't take a subscription — or a stranger's server — to prove it.

The problem

The talent was never the issue. The tools were.

You're a creator, a founder, an agency, a team recording something real: a podcast, a client interview, a tutorial, a stream. Somewhere in that long-form footage are the moments that could actually grow your audience. The problem has never been talent. It's the tools standing between you and posting.

Every other option asks you to trade something you shouldn't have to give up. Upload your raw footage to someone else's cloud and wait. Pay per month, per seat, per credit — forever — just to keep clipping. Watch a "smart" tool miss the moment that actually mattered because it was built for volume, not quality.

ClipChip.ai exists so that never has to be your trade-off again.

The solution

Everything happens on your Mac.

It's built to work on your Mac — no cloud rendering, no waiting on a render queue, no client footage sitting on a server you don't control. It finds your best moments, captions them, reframes them for social, and cleans up the filler, all without a single frame leaving your machine. And you own it. One payment, not another line item on a subscription statement that quietly grows every year.

Who it's for

Built for the people who can't afford the trade-offs.

The creator

Tired of paying twice — once in dollars, once in hours lost to slow uploads and inboxes full of “processing” emails.

The agency

Can't risk client footage touching a cloud server, and needs margins that don't shrink every time you add an editor.

The podcaster

Sitting on hours of long-form content that deserves shorts reflecting the moment — not whatever an algorithm decided was “viral” by pause length.

The coach & educator

Holding real expertise on tape, and owed clips that actually reflect the value of what was said.

The founder

Hi, I'm Evan Liang.

I'm a real person, not a faceless brand. I live and work in Southern California, where I've spent years as a content creator and YouTuber, a marketing specialist, and a videographer and editor for my own channels and for clients. I've shot the footage, logged the hours in the timeline, and posted the clips — usually late at night, usually against a deadline.

ClipChip.ai came out of my own frustration. I was uploading raw client footage to servers I didn't control, waiting on render queues before I could even see if a clip was usable, and paying monthly for credits that ran out right when a video started working. I didn't want another subscription. I wanted a tool that ran on the Mac already sitting on my desk.

So I built it — the way it should have worked from the start: private, fast, and yours after one payment. Every decision in this app comes from a problem I hit personally. If something in ClipChip.ai bothers you, email me at help@clipchip.ai. A real person reads it — usually me.

What we believe

Built on three principles.

Privacy by architecture

Your footage stays on your Mac. We don't see it, store it, or train on it — the only thing that ever leaves is a finished clip you choose to post to YouTube or Instagram Reels.

Speed on hardware you own

ClipChip.ai runs on the Apple Neural Engine in your Mac. No server queue, no throttling, no credit limits.

Own your software

One payment, lifetime use. No recurring subscriptions, no forced upgrades, no lock-in.
